Education: Graduated from Clarkston High School, Clarkston Washington (1968); attended business school in Seattle, at age 30 went to college for accounting, at age 60 received Associates Degree in Christian Studies   

First Job:  Legal secretary in Seattle

Family Ties: Married to a wonderful man, I have 2 great kids of my own with 2 fantastic grand kids, between me and hubby we have 6 kids.

Hobbies/Interests:  I love to read, fantasy, European history, books about the Holocaust. I also paint tho not as much as I would like to. Once the house is finished getting settled into then I will have a studio and a place to spend my quiet time

Guilty Pleasure: Reading, I am a voracious reader, since we got to Lamar in 2 weeks I have read 4 books.

Favorite Pets: We have 2 cats that I love. Doodles my Siamese Manx mix and Bubba our Himalayan kitty that we rescued when we lived in Las Vegas 4 years ago.

How did you end up working at KVAY?  Husband was hired to be on the air and I have lots of years experience in sales and Debi needed another sales person and here I am.
If you could add or change one thing to the Lamar area, what would it be?   So far I don’t know if I would change anything except not getting so hot.

Who did you want to be like when you were growing up? Marine Biologist

If you could meet one person past, present or future who would it be and why?  Golda Meir, my father’s family came to this country and changed their last name to avoid persecution, They were Jewish and I want to know about my family history and my ancestors that were killed during the Holocaust.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be and why? To have been able to get to know the grandparents of my father.

What was the last book you read?  Eragon

If you could spend a whole day with somebody famous, who would it be?  Golda Meir or Jackie Kennedy.

What's your favorite candy and soda?  Hershey bar and Diet Coke
