Education: I graduated from Springfield High School in 2002, after which I attended West Texas A&M University for one and a half years. Since then I attended West Los Angeles College and I graduated from the University of California- Riverside with my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre in Spring 2009.
First Job: My first job was as a dishwasher at my mom’s restaurant.
Family Ties: I’m single, but I have my immediate family. My mom and stepdad, dad and stepmom, younger brother, grandma and grandpa, and a bunch of aunts/uncles/cousins who are all awesome!
Hobbies/Interests: I love movies and like reading. I enjoy listening to music and hanging out with my friends. I like sports and being outside and I would like to learn how to play golf (and a musical instrument)!
Guilty Pleasure: I love chocolate! And a nice glass of wine occasionally.

Pets: I don’t have any pets, but I really want to get a dog!
Favorite Artist/Song: My favorite artists are Third Day (a Christian band) and Coldplay. My favorite country artists are Garth Brooks and…well there many that I like!
How did you end up working at KVAY? My mom is the manager and she told me that there was an on-air position coming available and I thought that sounded cool, so I applied.
If you could add or change one thing to the Lamar area, what would it be? I’d either add a Target (‘cause I love shopping there) or a Trader Joe’s (which is a grocery store).
Who did you want to be like when you were growing up? Probably Julia Roberts.
If you could meet one person past, present or future who would it be and why? Probably David, from the Bible because God said he was a man after His own heart, he was a mighty king and warrior, and yet he wrote poems/songs to God.
If you were granted one wish, what would it be and why? I would have the ability to fly because it would be awesome and I could travel anywhere!
What was the last book you read? The last book that I read, that wasn’t for school, was Captured on Corregidor: Story of a Prisoner of War in WWII, which was a true-story written by a retired army general that I know.
If you could spend a whole day with somebody famous, who would it be? Jesus.
What's your favorite candy and soda? Reeses and I try not to drink soda.
