First Job: Fitness trainer and door guy at a local gym in La Canada, CA
Family Ties: I actually haven’t seen the show…..Oh, you mean my OWN family Ties. 2 parents, Mom and Dad, still together for almost 30 years! And little brother, Ross. 5 years younger, but taller than me by an inch. I got ripped off!
Hobbies/Interests: Playing sports, watching sports, lifting weights, video games, cooking, eating, podcasting, making myself and other people laugh, and much more.
Guilty Pleasure: A nice, stiff drink every so often…girly music with a good beat, HA!...Karaoke!
Pets: My beautiful, amazing puppy, Hoggie. RIP
Favorite Artist/Song: Wow, this question is too hard…the band or group I have seen more than any other is the Punk/Ska band called Reel Big Fish. Favorite song EVER might be “What a fool believes” by Michael McDonald…and yes my friends laugh at me for that one.
How did you end up working at KVAY? After working several different radio/television/voice jobs in Los Angeles, I decided I needed something that was full time. I saw the ad for KVAY online, applied, and almost 3 months later, here I am!
If you could add or change one thing to the Lamar area, what would it be? Have a couple more, bigger restaurants. Maybe a big mall. Definitely add a Claim Jumper. Karaoke bar? Add a gigantic gym. Grow some mountains for hiking. Professional sports team?!...
Who did you want to be like when you were growing up? Either my parents or the Ninja Turtles
If you could meet one person past, present or future who would it be and why? Possibly Michael Jackson to try to get him back in control of his life to continue to make some of the greatest music ever made in the history of music. Or John F. Kennedy to just chat and get his perspective on the current American state of affairs…and so I can replicate his awesome accent
If you were granted one wish, what would it be and why? To have the ability to create additional wishes to use at my own leisure.
What was the last book you read? I haven’t read in awhile…probably the Godfather
If you could spend a whole day with somebody famous, who would it be? Peyton Manning, Bill Clinton, Eddie Izzard, Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Tebow, Seth MacFarlane, probably many more…too many to mention.
What's your favorite candy and soda? I try to avoid candy and soda…but if I must, probably peanut butter M&M’s or Peanut Butter cups…and Cherry coke…OR JOLT COLA!
